Of Mice and Men Section 1

In section one, we were introduced to two characters, Lennie and George. George was a small man with strong hands, slender arms, and a thin and bony nose. He is irascible, and snaps at Lennie frequently. Lennie is the exact opposite of George. He is larger, has big hands, large pale eyes, and sloping shoulders. He was described as "crazy" and has bad memory. He is more gentle than George, and has a love for animals, despite the fact that he accidentally kills many of them. Despite being completely different from each other, the to men truly care for each other. Lennie offers to go on his own so that George may have a better life, and when Lennie was feeling down, George offers to buy him a puppy when they get more land. I would like to see this relationship grow throughout the rest of the book.
