OMAM Part 1 Blog

      I think it's interesting how different Lennie and George are from each other and how different their appearances are from their personalities. Lennie was described as a huge man with wide sloping shoulders. His walk was compared to that of a bear because of the way he dragged his feet. On the other hand, George was described as small and quick with restless eyes. Even though George was small, he was imperious. He was more of the leader while Lennie submissively followed behind. Even though Lennie was a very big man his personality was the exact opposite of George's. He was  obedient and did what George asked (if he remembered).

  1. I agree. You can tell that their relationship is one of close friends. The way that George can yell at Lennie and Lennie would do what George said and not get into a fight. The way that the smaller person is the leader. The way that the larger guy is submissive. It is all different than what we expect. It is very ironic, too.
